About this appeal

We’re building the region a brand new, $115 million Warrnambool Base Hospital. It will open in May. Between now and then we need to raise $3.5 million to equip it.

We’re calling on everyone - individuals, families, groups, clubs, businesses and corporations - to help us with this undertaking to ensure the region’s families, workplaces and communities get a Base Hospital they truly deserve... the type of hospital equipped to provide the very best of care for the 110,000 people who live in the South West, and for the thousands of tourists who come to stay, as well.

You get to choose where your money is spent

This appeal has been set up to allow donors to choose where they would like their money to go. People who make a pledge can direct their donation to a specific piece of medical equipment or a specific area of the new hospital. This means you get to choose a cause you have a real affinity for.

The ways you can donate

  2. By mailing a cheque/money order (made payable to South West Healthcare) to: SWH Base Hospital Appeal, Ryot Street, Warrnambool, Victoria, Australia 3280.

  3. By visiting the cashier at the main reception desk of our Warrnambool hospital to make a cash or credit card/EFTPOS donation.
  • Donations greater than $2 are tax deductible.
  • Donations greater than $1,000 can be arranged via installments
